Industrial
Response time is critical in any fire, but even more so in an industrial setting. There is just too much that can go wrong. Compressed Air Foam provides some significant advantages in an industrial setting. It knocks down a fire very quickly, limiting damage. Class A foams are environmentally friendly. Specific equipment can be protected with a Stored Energy unit or a facility can have one or more stand by units available on demand. We offer three fire fighting systems designed for industrial use.
1. The NXG is designed to be a stand by fire system. Simply turn a switch and it is ready to go. It can be configured to use any type of foam concentrate making it useful in many different situations. Insert link to NXG
2. The Stored Energy Compressed Air Foam System (SECAF). Compressed Air Foam Systems require water, foam concentrate and air. Air is usually provided by an air compressor. Stored Energy Systems use either stored air or shop air to power the unit. They function as oversized fire extinguishers with one important benefit. A dry fire extinguisher will put out a fire. But almost universally, it will not reduce the temperature where the fire was, leading to rekindling fires. Compressed Air Foam dramatically reduces the temperature. This makes it ideal for smaller fires before they can get out of hand or to spot protect important machinery in construction and industrial use. More on Secafs
3. The Frameless (FL) family. Frameless systems are basic skid units, something between an NXG and a SECAF. They are small simple systems ideal for light industrial, construction or residential uses. More on the FL Series |
